Oilfield Strike
30 minutes. Grab the oil. Upgrade your Strike Skills. Fight smart. Get paid.
Oilfield Strike is a 30-minute free-for-all with one job: walk out with as much oil as you can carry. Capture oilfields, hunt Armed Patrols for Battlefield Experience, chase Hidden Oilfields, scoop up scattered oil drops, spend your teleports well, and make a play for the Refinery before the clock runs dry.
Section 1
How Oilfield Strike Works
Tap any step in the run to see what you should actually be doing.
Enter
You drop onto a shared oilfield map with everyone else. No teams, no safety net — just you, your squads and a 30-minute clock.
Your Goal
Maximize total Oil before 30:00.
Official Mechanics
Know Before You Deploy
Officers

Chiefs' Officers are unlimited and cannot die during Oilfield Strike. Their levels equal the highest-leveled Officers in the Chief's own Squad.
Tactical translation: Don't hoard Officers. Use your squads.
Armed Patrols

Defeat Armed Patrols to obtain Battlefield Experience.
Tactical translation: Keep a squad hunting while the others collect.
Strike Skills

Battlefield Experience upgrades Strike Skills. They enhance squad Combat Power only during Oilfield Strike and reset next round.
Tactical translation: Spend XP while it can still earn Oil.
Oilfields
Occupying Oilfields allows Oil confiscation. Total Oil determines the final outcome. Lv. 1–3 fields contain Armed Guards that must be defeated first.
Tactical translation: Capture the strongest field you can safely hold.
Central Refinery
The Central Refinery unlocks 23 minutes after the battlefield opens. Its rewards are decided by cumulative Refinery occupation-time ranking.
Tactical translation: Be stacked and nearby before 23:00 — every second of holding counts.
Section 2
Before You Copy the Strategy Exactly…
This strategy was tested from a PD30 chief running T10 troops. That matters mostly in two places: punching through the guards on Lv. 3 Oilfields, and brawling for the Refinery.
Everything else works at any level. Lower-power chiefs score extremely well by taking Lv. 1 and Lv. 2 fields, farming weak patrols, and cleaning up Hidden Oilfields while the heavyweights are busy fighting each other. Watch for the badges above — they tell you which advice is meant for whom.

The 30-Minute Battle Timeline
Every moment that matters, in order. Tap a marker for the full briefing.
- Teleport toward the center of the map.
- Find a cluster of Lv. 3 Oilfields you can actually beat.
- Send most squads straight onto fields to collect.
- Keep one squad free to hunt Armed Patrols for Battlefield Experience.

Section 6
Know Your Oilfields
Four field types, four very different jobs.
Which Oilfield Should I Take?
Lv. 3 Oilfield
The best oil-per-march in the event — if you can beat an 18.8M guard stack. Big power only; losing repeatedly here costs far more than the oil is worth.
Compare Oilfields
Oil Rate Race
| Type | Oil | Rate | Drain | Guards | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lv. 1 | 8,640 oil | 8 / sec | 18 minutes | 682K guard power | Safer |
| Lv. 2 | 17,280 oil | 16 / sec | 18 minutes | 1.95M guard power | Mid |
| Lv. 3 | 34,560 oil | 32 / sec | 18 minutes | 18.8M guard power | Strong |
| Hidden | 4,000 oil | 200 / sec | 20 seconds | No guards at all | Opportunity |
Hidden fields fill fastest but contain only 4,000 Oil. Speed is not total yield.
Section 7
Why Lv. 3 Matters More Than It Looks
Same 18 Minutes
Lv. 1, Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 all drain in the same 18-minute base time.
More Oil, Faster
The higher fields simply hold proportionally more oil and collect proportionally faster.
Less Relocating
The real prize is fewer marches. Less redeploying, less travel time, more collecting.
Sections 9 & 10
Strike Skills
Five tiers, two choices each. Pick one per tier — the other locks for the rest of that battle.

Battlefield Experience Loop
Stronger and more efficient squads create more opportunities—but every Strike Skill resets next round.
Battlefield Experience comes from defeating Armed Patrols — not the guards sitting on Oilfields. Keep one squad on patrol duty all battle long.

The Refinery — Final 7-Minute Fight

- The Refinery opens at 23:00 and stays live until the battle ends.
- Ranking is based on cumulative occupation time — not one unbroken streak.
- Several short holds add together just fine.
- Only one squad per player can be sent to the Refinery.
- One second of occupation is enough to qualify for the ranking; where you land depends on your total time.
- Refinery oil also counts toward your overall collection total.
Refinery Ranking Ladder
- #1100,000 Oil
- #280,000 Oil
- #360,000 Oil
- #455,000 Oil
- #550,000 Oil
- #640,000 Oil
- #735,000 Oil
- #830,000 Oil
- #925,000 Oil
- #1020,000 Oil
If your power supports it, the Refinery is the biggest single payout on the map. If it doesn't, skipping it is a legitimate strategy — nobody is required to feed heroes into a fight they can't win.
Should I Contest the Refinery?
Section 12
Teleport Strategy
Free teleport cooldown: 6 minutes. That's up to five free repositions per battle.
During the cooldown you can still teleport, but paid jumps cost an increasing number of Advanced Teleporters: 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5, up to 15 total inside one cooldown window. The paid-charge counter resets once the free cooldown finishes.

Combat, Heroes & PvP Rules
Officers
- Unlimited — Officers cannot die during Oilfield Strike.
- Their levels equal the highest-leveled Officers in your own Squad.
- You can keep deploying complete squads all battle long.
Officers ≠ Heroes
Translation: don't hoard your officers. Use them.
Heroes
- Heroes are the expensive part. Lose a battle and they go into recovery.
- Recovery is roughly 5:00 — about 3:30 with the Hero Recovery Strike Skill.
- Five minutes is a sixth of the entire event. Stack a couple of losses together and several key heroes vanish from your line-up at once.
Know Before You Attack
- You can attack Oilfields occupied by other players.
- That includes fields held by your own alliance members.
- You cannot attack another player's PD / city during the event.

Sections 15 & 16
Scattered Oil & Defending Your Field

Free Oil On The Ground
When a squad carrying oil gets defeated, part of that cargo spills onto the battlefield — and anybody can pick it up.
- Scattered oil is collected by a free probe squad.
- It does not use one of your normal squad queues.
- Drops are worth roughly 1,000–6,000 oil each.
Rule: if you see an oil drop, grab it.
Someone Is Coming For Your Field…
One question: can you confidently win?
Yes → Defend
Hold the field, keep the oil ticking and send them home with paperwork.
No → Recall
Pull out before impact. You keep the oil you've already collected, you don't drop cargo, and your heroes stay off the injured list.
Sometimes the smartest fight is the one you don't take.

Chief, What's Happening?
Tap your situation for the short answer, then read the six priorities below.
Battle Just Started
Good for EveryoneTeleport toward the middle, lock onto the strongest oilfield cluster you can safely beat, send most squads to collect and keep one free for Armed Patrols.
Start in the Center
- Teleport toward Zone 3 and look for a workable Lv. 3 cluster.
- Most squads gather, one squad hunts Armed Patrols for Battlefield Experience.
- Can't beat the Lv. 3 guards? Step down to Lv. 2 rather than donating heroes to the recovery ward.
Never Ignore Scattered Oil
- Your probe squad doesn't use a normal squad queue.
- Keep it moving any time there are drops on the ground — it's free oil with zero opportunity cost.
Prepare for Hidden Oilfields
- 9:00 warning → 10:00 spawn.
- 19:00 warning → 20:00 spawn.
- Free your squads before the spawn, not after everyone else has already grabbed the good ones.
Use Your Free Teleports
- There's no prize for loyalty to a drained cluster.
- Reposition whenever a move clearly improves your collection rate.
Make a Refinery Play If Your Power Supports It
- The Refinery opens at 23:00 and runs to the horn.
- PD30 / T10 chiefs should absolutely contest it.
- Lower-power chiefs should weigh the hero recovery cost before diving in — skipping it is a perfectly good plan.
Don't Fight Just Because You Can
- Every PvP fight needs a reason beyond boredom.
- If the odds are bad, recall and protect the oil you already have.
