🐾 K9 Unit

Your four-legged backup has arrived.

K9s aren't running into Patrol or Arena with your heroes. They're doing something much sneakier: making your entire account stronger from the sidelines.

Once the opens, you can tame three dogs — Foreman, Beacon and Buggy.

And here's the best part: you don't have to choose one. Every K9 you own is working for you at the same time.

So… What Do K9s Actually Do?

Think of your K9s as your behind-the-scenes support squad. They don't physically fight alongside your heroes, but they provide:

  • Account-wide troop buffs
  • Squad Attack & Defense
  • Marksman, Biker & Guard bonuses
  • Useful active skills
  • K9 Power
  • Special Operations
  • Materials and loot
  • Alliance Contraband Crates

🚨 The Big Rule

All three K9s can work at the same time.

There is no “equip K9” button and no main pet to choose. If you own the dog, its buffs are already helping you.

🐕 How Their Buffs Work

Adds:

Squad Attack

Flat bonus

Squad Defense

Flat bonus

These are flat buffs that increase as the K9 levels and ranks up.

All of these buffs become part of the player's standing account stats. The dog does not need to be deployed, equipped or walking around the city for the buffs to work.

⚡ K9 Power

K9 Power = Level Power + Breakthrough Power + Drill Power

Drill Power is calculated as Committed Drill Values × 120.

K9 Skills add ZERO K9 Power. Skills are utility abilities only.

02

Unlocking Your K9 Unit

Zarael & Awkie Tip

Don't sleep on Beacon's Level 15 requirement.

Foreman → Level 1 is easy. Beacon → Level 15 is the part that actually holds up Buggy. The sooner you start, the sooner all three dogs are stacking buffs onto your account.

🥏 Taming: Frisbee Training

Before a dog officially joins your K9 Unit you need to tame it through . Throw the Frisbee at the right moment and you'll increase your Bond.

MistakeOutstandingPerfect

Reach 100% training progress to finish taming the dog.

Daily Limit

2

Frisbee Training attempts per dog, per day

That means taming takes multiple days.

Important

The dog walking around your city is not a repeatable reward. Clicking its bubble begins the one-time taming process for the next unowned K9. After that, the dog despawns.

No endless dog-tapping loot farm here. Sorry. 😂

03

Meet the K9 Unit

⭐ Foreman · Quality 1

Lower maximum level/rank and lower Drill caps.

⭐ Beacon + Buggy · Quality 2

Higher maximum level/rank and roughly 2× the long-term stat potential.

Foreman gets your K9 journey started, but Beacon and Buggy are where the bigger long-term stat investment lives.

04

Leveling & Breakthrough

🍖 Level Up

Uses K9 Kibble

Adds Squad Attack + Squad Defense.

⭐ Breakthrough

Uses K9 Supplement · Training Document · Gene Chip

  • Adds Squad buffs
  • Adds K9 Power
  • Upgrades the K9 Skill
  • Raises the dog's Level Cap

↓ Then you go back to leveling ↓

Foreman Level Caps

  • Rank 0 → Level 9
  • Rank 1 → Level 19
  • Rank 2 → Level 29
  • Rank 3 → Level 39
  • Rank 4 → Level 49
  • Rank 5 → Level 50 MAX

Beacon and Buggy follow the same pattern one tier higher, reaching Rank 6 / Level 60.

UI Tip

When the game changes the button from Level Up to Breakthrough, you have hit your current level cap. Rank up before you can continue leveling.

⚡ Very Important · Skill Unlock

Level 10 + First Breakthrough = Skill Unlocked

A K9's active Skill does not become available until it reaches Level 10 and completes its first Breakthrough into Rank 1. Every later Breakthrough upgrades that Skill again — which makes Rank 1 the first major milestone for every dog.

05

🎲 Drilling

Welcome to K9 stat roulette.

Drilling is the RNG part of the K9 system. Each K9 has six Drill attributes:

Marksman

❤️ Health

🎯 Penetration

Biker

❤️ Health

🎯 Penetration

Guard

❤️ Health

🎯 Penetration

Every Drill rerolls all six attributes at once. Cost: 1 Whistle per Drill. The result is calculated server-side.

Replace or Retry?

Important

There is no individual stat lock. You cannot lock one amazing Marksman roll and reroll only the other five.

⭐ The Quality Ratchet

CommonUncommonRareEpicLegendary
  • Every attribute starts at Common.
  • When an attribute reaches the maximum value for its current Quality tier, it gets promoted.
  • Once a stat reaches a higher Quality it can never fall back below that tier — the new Quality's minimum value becomes its permanent floor.
  • are more likely to roll positively, making Quality progression faster.

🚨 Level Before You Drill

Your K9's level controls how high its Drill Quality can go.

Level 10

Common

Level 20

Uncommon

Level 30

Rare

Level 40

Epic

Level 50

Legendary

Beacon and Buggy use these same level breakpoints, but their Quality-2 attributes can reach roughly double Foreman's values.

Zarael & Awkie Tip

Hit the next level breakpoint before dumping Whistles into Drilling. Otherwise you're spending Whistles trying to improve stats that are already stuck at their current tier ceiling.

🤖 Auto-Drill

Unlocks after 20 manual Drills

Then set a Whistle budget and let Auto-Drill do the work.

Auto-Drill

  • Automatically retries non-positive rolls
  • Automatically saves the first net-positive roll
  • Stops after saving an improvement
  • Stops when Whistles run out
  • Stops when all six attributes are maxed for the K9's current level

Best Part?

Auto-Drill cannot make your K9 worse. Once it's unlocked, this should be the main way you grind Drill stats.

06

⚡ K9 Skills

Note

Buggy is different from the other two. Instead of increasing the Skill's effect with each rank, leveling the Skill shortens its cooldown.

07

📦 Special Operations

Sending a K9 on a Special Operation costs ⚡ 10 Energy. The dog goes on a timed mission and returns with guaranteed personal rewards. There is also a chance of bringing back a that can be shared with your alliance.

Important

Special Operations always succeed. The listed percentages are the chances of that mission type appearing — they are NOT success rates.

Special Operations Rules

🐕 Mission Slots

3 concurrent missions. One dog per mission. A deployed dog stays locked until its mission reward is claimed.

⚡ Cost

10 Energy per deployment.

📅 Daily Deployments

Deployments share a daily budget across all dogs. Once used, no more missions until reset.

🔄 Refresh

No manual mission refresh. A new mission appears only after completing and claiming the current mission in that slot.

📦 Contraband Crates

When Special Operations find a Contraband Crate, share it with your alliance.

🎯 What Should I Upgrade First?

  1. 1️⃣ Unlock All Three Dogs ASAP

    Foreman → Level 1 → Beacon → Level 15 → Buggy.

Use your 2 daily Frisbee attempts whenever they're available.

  2. 2️⃣ Push Each Dog to Rank 1

Level 10 + first Breakthrough unlocks the K9's Skill and the next Level Cap.

A Rank-0 dog is still missing one of its biggest features.

  3. 3️⃣ Invest Heavier in Beacon + Buggy

Foreman is useful and gets everything started.

But Beacon and Buggy are Quality 2 and have roughly twice the long-term stat ceiling.

  4. 4️⃣ Drill at Level Breakpoints

    Remember: 10 → 20 → 30 → 40 → 50.

Reach the next breakpoint first. Then burn your Whistles. Not the other way around.

  5. 5️⃣ Unlock Auto-Drill

Complete the required 20 manual Drills.

After that, let Auto-Drill handle the grind safely.

  6. 6️⃣ Keep Special Operations Moving

If you have Energy and deployments available, use those mission slots.

Every completed mission gives materials. Idle slots give exactly… nothing.

  7. 7️⃣ Build Toward 300K K9 Power

Advanced II requires 300,000 K9 Power.

That's where the best Special Operation rewards live, including Premium Whistles.

  8. 8️⃣ Use Beacon to Feed the Mission Machine

Special Operations cost 10 Energy each. Beacon restores 35–60 Energy depending on rank.

Free Energy → more missions → more K9 materials → stronger dogs. Nice little circle, isn't it?

Your K9s may not be charging into battle, but they're definitely earning their keep. Unlock all three. Level them. Breakthrough. Drill smart. Use their Skills. Keep those Special Operations moving.

And please… share the doggy loot with your alliance. Your Reapers will thank you. 🐾
